working principle
The detector outputs a sequence of pulses under the irradiation of x, y, a, and β rays. The number of pulses corresponds to the dose rate of x, y, a, and β rays. After input and shaping, a standard pulse with a certain amplitude is sent to the single-chip microcomputer. , The single-chip microcomputer completes all digital processing functions, inputs LCD display, and exceeds threshold signal input acousto-optic circuit to alarm.
1. Detector: Use a high-sensitivity GM counter to reduce the difference between high and low energy response after energy compensation. The counter tube converts x, y, a, and β rays into electrical pulse signals, which are input into the single-chip circuit through input shaping.
2. Single-chip microcomputer: The single-chip microcomputer uses an 8-bit single-chip microcomputer with a liquid crystal display drive. It is characterized by high speed, low voltage, low power consumption, and single power supply. The single-chip computer completes all the digital processing functions: pulse counting, calculation display, time base generation, output alarm signal, etc.

7. Alarm function and alarm threshold:

8. Battery undervoltage indication
When the battery voltage is less than 2.7V+0.05V, the instrument displays the battery undervoltage symbol "LOBAT". When the undervoltage symbol appears, although it can work continuously for 24 hours in a low radiation location, the battery should be replaced in time.

Battery installation and accumulated dose reset
Open the battery box cover and put the No. 7 battery into the box according to the correct polarity. At this time, the instrument makes a beep, and when it is used for the first time, it displays "DOSE", 000.00 usv. Because the instrument has a memory function, the accumulated dose cannot be cleared when the power is turned off. You must press the selection button "CHOICE" to switch to the "DOSE" state. Long press the SET button for 3 to 5 seconds to reset the accumulated dose. If necessary before clearing, record the original stored cumulative dose first.
Measure background dose
Before measurement, under the environmental background, turn on the work switch, after the accumulated dose is cleared, press the selection button "CHOICE", when "DOSE" is displayed, the LCD number will flash, and after 3 to 5 seconds, the "DOSE" status will be displayed 000.00 usv, the instrument is in the measuring state, every time 0.1 usv accumulates, a short beep will sound, and the indicator light will flash once;
Press the selection button "CHOICE", when it displays "RATE", the LCD number will flash. After 3 to 5 seconds, the "RATE" status displays 000.01 usv/h. When it displays "RATE", the instrument is in the measuring state, and the measurement is repeated. The bottom level, generally <0.5 usv/h.
Measurement
①Press the work switch (ON/OFF) button, the LCD screen will display and start the measurement.
Press the selection button "CHOICE" to display the characters "RATE", "DOSE", "TIME", and "BLOCK" respectively.
②When “RATE” is displayed, measure the dose equivalent rate in usv/h. The instrument currently has an alarm threshold of 25usv/h, radiation level ≥25usv/h, sound and light continuously alarm for 6 seconds, and "ALARM" character display, if the threshold is continuously exceeded, the sound and light will not alarm, but "ALARM" It is still displayed and does not disappear until it is below the threshold.
The instrument can also manually set the dose equivalent rate alarm threshold. If the set value is exceeded, the sound and light will alarm continuously for 6 seconds. The built-in alarm threshold of 25usv/h will temporarily not work. The operation of artificially setting the dose equivalent rate is as follows:
Press the selection button "CHOICE", when it displays "RATE", the first digit of the LCD number will flash, press the set button "SET", and the number will change cyclically from 0 to 9. After setting the first digit, press the select button "CHOICE", the second digit flashes, press the set button "SET", the number will change cyclically from 0 to 9. ③When “DOSE” is displayed, measure the cumulative dose equivalent in usv and msv. 0.1usv per record. The instrument emits a short beep and emits light once.
The instrument now has a cumulative dose alarm threshold of 50 usv, and the instrument will continue to alarm for 5 seconds every time the dose is increased by 50 usv.
The instrument can also artificially accumulate the dose equivalent alarm threshold. If the set value is exceeded, the sound and light will alarm continuously for 6 seconds. The built-in alarm threshold of 50usv will not work temporarily. The operation of artificially setting the cumulative dose equivalent is as follows:
Press the selection button "CHOICE", when it displays "DOSE", the unit usv will flash, press the set button "SET", the unit will change between usv and msv, after confirming the unit, press the selection button "CHOICE", the number is One digit will flash, press the "SET" button, and the number will change cyclically from 0 to 9. Press the selection button "CHOICE", when it displays "TIME", the first digit of the LCD number will flash, press the set button "SET", and the number will change cyclically from 0 to 9. After setting the first digit, press and touch the selection button "CHOICE", the second digit flashes, press the setting button "SET", the number will change cyclically from 0 to 5. By analogy, the third bit changes from 0 to 9, the fourth bit changes from 0 to 5, and the fifth bit changes from 0 to 9. The maximum time can be set to 9 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
⑤When “BLOCK” is displayed, the background radiation dose rate can be set. The unit is usv/h. After setting, the microcontroller will automatically reduce the background radiation dose.
The operation of setting the background radiation dose is as follows:

5. Matters needing attention:
If the instrument is not used for a long time, the battery must be removed to avoid damage to the instrument.
The user is not allowed to disassemble the instrument privately to avoid accidents.
